The challenge
Shops in Pakistan lose connectivity constantly, and a till that stops at a dropped connection stops the business with it. Most affordable POS software assumes a stable line and a desktop — neither of which a small pharmacy counter has.
Our approach
We made the device the source of truth. Every sale writes to local storage first, so the till never waits on a network round trip; operations queue and replay automatically once the connection is back. The catalogue syncs to a shared multi-tenant backend so an owner with several shops sees one set of numbers. Pharmacy needs batch and expiry tracking, so that is built in rather than bolted on.
What shipped
A till that runs the full day on a phone — sales, stock, returns, cash reconciliation and reporting — with retail and pharmacy modes and multi-shop support.
What it does
- Ring up a sale by barcode, search or voice
- Keep selling through an internet outage — queued and replayed
- Open, count and reconcile the cash drawer each day
- Track stock with low-stock and expiry warnings
- Handle returns, refunds and held carts
- Read daily takings and best sellers from the phone
